    But i think it’s missing something on this javascript part:
    // Do something with attachment.id and/or attachment.url here

    This line of code could be in here:
    jQuery(‘#user_meta_image’).attr(‘value’,attachment.url);

  3. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Any chance you have instructions for a novice coder? I’ve got the steps up to the JS and the uploader showing in the user profile page, but I’m not sure where that script goes. I am certain I can get the last step to show up in my theme template, but if someone could help with those in between steps, I would be grateful.

    • I may combine this code into a plugin. But I won’t be providing support for it if I do. This post was simply meant to be a guideline for those that understand building themes and plugins in WordPress.
